PRIVATE SPACE
Apartment design in this project is based on the life scenario of a modern couple with the desire to express an understanding of their own uniqueness and value in the context of globalization of world cultural trends. I believe that contemporary interior style is a combination of functionality, innovation and art. Together they create the design of the space in harmony. This project is designed for the modern young family who love travel, arts, technological innovation and prefer an active lifestyle.

The overall style of the project is an eclectic mix of an eco style with loft and elements of fusion, and ethnic symbolism.

In general, similar to the floors, the premises are divided into private and public. Due to the absence of closed corridors guests are free to move around the shared rooms without disturbing the owners' private areas (such as bedroom, walk-in closet and bathroom).

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a guest bathroom, a sitting room combined with a dining room and a kitchen. A special feature is a hanging chair located next to the window allowing to admire the view. Nearby there is a sofa with a coffee table and shelves for accessories and books, an electric fireplace that visually divides the dining and sitting areas, and a TV on the wall.

On the first floor there is the owners’ bedroom, a bathroom, a walk-in closet, a guest room, and a corridor with metal stairs (individual order) leading to the third floor and balconies.
A home theater is planned on the third floor. It has access to the terrace, and can be placed outside during warm season.
Many LAURAMERONI home décor and furnishing were used in the project.

In the corridor you can see paintings by Ivan Marchuk as an example of Ukrainian identity in the world.

The kitchen is separated from the dining room by the sliding doors Bamboo Sliding (Project by Diego Maria Piovesan). White veneer sliding doors with longitudinal grooves on both sides and a glossy chrome steel guide rail are at the same time a decor that adds contrast, complements and illuminates the dining table (Raja Maxima Collection. Bartoli Design) cabinet and the black cabinet (custom made). On the wall near the window there is a vertical garden with LED illumination. There is also a chest of drawers (Le Formiche Nere) made of brushed metal and a piece of modern abstract painting.

Light objects and materials in combination with colored accents (paintings and accessories) are used in the kitchen. Furniture is custom-made with metal mesh wall decoration and black fixtures with wood elements.

The owners’ bedroom is the most eco-friendly, unique and original room in the project. From this room you can pass to the walk-in closet and the bathroom, as well as the balcony. The white color scheme gives a sense of cleanliness, space and elegance, is varied with wooden objects and textile elements with Ukrainian character (curtains, carpet).

The bed (BD 22 Maxima Collection. Project by Bartoli Design) with the set of bedside tables (EKO Urban Stone.GAFF) are the main elements, and are complemented by wooden slats on the wall and ceiling. The room also has a fireplace, built-in wardrobe, built-in ventilation system and an armchair (BD 21 Maxima Collection). Opposite the bed there are mirrors fixed on the wall in the total height.

The following materials have been used to cover the floor: Atlas Concorde ceramic granite on the ground floor, and Aix Fumée collection on the terrace; EXENCE Almond in bedroom on the first floor; the concrete floor in the other rooms and on the second floor.

Little Greene paint was used to finish the walls on the ground floor and the owners’ bedroom on the first floor. In the entrance hall there is an author's abstract drawing of a mountain landscape (Rubine AshesTM243, Dash of SootTM244, Perennial GreqTM245, DolpfinTM246, Chimney BrickTM247).

The guest room, 2nd floor and 1st floor corridor are finished with concrete panels.

In the living rooms light sensors have tebis KNX presence sensors, and in the corridors and passageways the EE880 motion sensor. A Domovea server is used to visualize and control the equipment in the apartment using the KNX system. In addition sockets and switches are equipped with USB charging devices.

Project style theme utilizes the lamps of Ukrainian design studio GAFF. The recessed track lights Urban black made of solid ash and metal colored black is located on the ground floor in all rooms and on the 1st floor in the hallway and guest room.
Urban white in the bedroom is the main lighting and due to rotating spots  helps perfectly to properly zonate the room.

Floor lamp Urban Laconic black / white can be used in both private and public areas. On the ground floor and on the 1st floor, they create additional lighting for the sitting area.
In addition to the main light fixtures on the walls there are modern Urban Light black / white wall lamps from the main collection and H9 pendant lamp, which can be seen on the first floor in the hallway near the stairs to the 2rd floor.

The Words Hinged door divides the bathroom and hallway on the ground floor with “Bath” décor, and the hallway and owners’ bedroom on the 1st floor with “Dreams” décor.

The overall design of the apartments creates a sense of style and comfort. Properly selected materials, furniture, lamps and accessories combined with works of art will provide emotional and physical inspiration to the owners and a comfortable stay in the rooms.
